Corporate Rates - Terms & Conditions

 * Rates are in EURO, are not discountable and include Unilimited kilometres (UNL), Third Party Insurance (TPI), Loss Damage Waiver and Theft protection (LD).

 * VAT is currently 24% (17% applies in Kos) are not included in the rates "time and mileage" (first column).

 * Minimum rental: 1 day. The 25th hour is free of charge. An extra day will be charged from the 26th hour.

 * No-show: In case the renter fails to collect the vehicle on the rental start date and time without any written or telephone conversation, Sixt will cancel the reservation after 3 hours. Sixt reserve the right to charge the renter a one day rental of the car group reserved.

 * The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel and must be refilled prior to car return. Otherwise a charge of gasoline* in addition to a refueling fee of 15,00€ will apply. * Depends on the valid average fuel cost.

 * All traffic fines resulting from violation of the Greek traffic law are for renter's account. 

 * All Sixt vehicles are insured: a) against liability to third parties (excluding driver) for death and injury up to 1.220.000,00 € per victim b) material damages to third parties (excluding the Sixt vehicle) up to 1.220.000,00 €.

 * LDW coverage: The driver limits his responsibility to any damage of the vehicle to the amount as mentioned in the above column "Excess", provided that traffic laws where not contravened

 * None of the insurances cover damages caused by infringement of the traffic law (ie violation of the red traffic light or STOP sign, illegal overtaking, driving under the influence of alcohol etc) and underneath the vehicle.

 * Incident Administration fee: In case of an accident due to the renter's liability, renter has the obligation to pay a non refundable fee of 18,60 € in order to cover administration expenses.

 * Administration Fee for fines: The driver is liable for the payment of all traffic fines that may occur during the car rental. In case the driver does not pay the fine(s) and Sixt intervenes to the procedure, there will be an Administration Fee for the fine of 24,80 € additional to the fine's cost.

 * Loss or damage of key: In case of loss or damage of key during the rental, the driver is liable for the following charges: a) 100,00€-250,00€  for car groups Μ***, Ε*** b) 125,00€-310,00€ for car groups C***, I***, S***  c) 250,00€-434,00€ for car groups G***, F***, P***, X***.

 * Baby Seats (BS) and Snow Chains (SC) are available upon request and with a daily charge of 4,50 € for the baby seats and 4,00 € for the snow chains. 

 * Additional drivers fee (AD): Extra charge 4,50 € per day.

 * GPS (NV) is on request and available only after a reservation, with a daily charge of 8,00 €.

 * Airport Fee is not included (13% for Athens International Airport and 12% for all other airports). The Airport Fee has value when the pick up branch is from an airport.

 * Car cabin: In case the driver returns the vehicle and it's cabin has stains which require a special cleaning procedure (ie animal hair, sand etc on car seats or car floor or port paggage), he will be charged with an amount of 60€ - 140€ for the cleaning. In case of damage through driver's fault (eg burning) there will be a corresponding charge depending on the damage. 

 * Delivery/Collection: For deliveries except Sixt branch, an additional charge will be added depending on the distance between the delivery point and the Sixt branch. - Delivery/Collection after hours (according to our stationlist): 25,00€  (excl. Athens Airport).

 * «Rent it Here - Leave it there» service (OW): Available between all branches of the Sixt network with a fee. Please contact our Reservation department regarding the service charges.

 * Driver must be 23+ years old for groups M***, E***, CC** and 25+ years old for all other groups. Also, they need to present a personal credit/debit card used as a deposit. 

 * Drivers aged between 21-22 will be subject to Young Drivers Surcharge by paying the amount of 25,00 € per day. 

 * Removal of License Plates: In case of removal of license plates, the renter will be charged for the rental until the receipt of the license plates from the competent service.

 * Ferrying the vehicle: In case of ferrying the vehicle between Greek islands where Sixt don't have a branch, the renter is obliged to return the vehicle in any of Sixt branch and charged additionally according to our "Rent it Here - Leave it There" service (OW), otherwise all transportation costs are on renter's responsibility.

   In case of a mechanical damage or accident, the renter is covered by the Roadside protection but he will be charged for all transportation expenses.        

*  During the ferrying, none of the insurances are valid, unless driver has agreed to add the Ferry Tranportation Protection (Τ2) with  a charge of 25€. 

 * Across the border rental: Not allowed.
